Personalized care sessions are a space that we co-create together based on your needs, the reason we are working together, and the goals we surface. I integrate my skills and training as a registered nurse, spiritual director, and facilitator to hold a space that centers your internal needs and well-being as we making connections to external and environmental influences that affect well-being. We have at our disposal many tools to help facilitate discovery and hold change. The topics over which we can engage a care session are broad as well. Subject’s I offer personalized care around include but are not limited to:
Health Planning and Comprehension: Navigating our modern industrial medical care complex is difficult and understanding what Health jargon means and how it applies to you can be difficult to navigate. My training as a nurse enables me to translate, educate, advocate for you as well as your holistic care needs.
Death and Birthing Doula Care: Transitions are scary. Yet, some of the most tender transitions are those into this consciousness and out of this consciousness. I’ve had the sacred honor of helping to facilitating transition for people and their loved ones both in the capacity of labor and delivery and hospice care. What makes my approach different is that we honor these sacred life rhythms through ceremony that centers the sacred continuum of life instead of fearing it.
Spiritual Direction Sessions: One of the most impactful statements I’ve ever heard is ‘Everything is spiritual’. (Howard Thurman, Rob Bell, and other spiritual mystics) I continue to live into this truth daily. Although I’m not fond of the label spiritual director I’m convicted by the need for guides in our journey that help integrate life beyond only that which we can see.
We are guides whose purpose and intention is to listen deeply to clients and help them explore their spirituality. I am grateful for my mentors and teachers who welcomed me back to my lineage and sacred spirituality: The Mystic Soul Project.
My approach is not rooted in one particular religious belief but recognizes that we exist in an intertwined and interdependent web of spiritualities and practices. I’m happy to journey with you to figure out what practices work for you, especially my Queer, Black, Brown, and Indigenous Kin.

A group of people get together. Boom. That’s it. You have everything you need for conflict to happen in ways that really derail organizations, communities, and relationships from accomplishing shared goals. Often we are moving at a pace in which that makes it difficult to hold generative conflict.
A core principle of Emergent Strategy (Adrienne Maree Brown) says that “There is always enough time for the right work. There is a conversation in the room that only these people at this moment can have. Find it.”
So much about moving forward in our relationships and organizations is about mediating conflict and finding the right work for the current moment. Movements, organizations, and relationships risk dismantling themselves with internal strife. Conflict mediation in this space means that we will hold tension in an embodied way and at a rate within our capacity for tolerance and growth.
Conflict mediation is tender and soulful work. I’m happy to hold change with you through the heaviness of conflict.

I’m honored to co-labor with several businesses led by individuals with marginalized identities across the spectrum, specifically queer folk, Black women, and women of color. It’s a joy to be sharpened by these collaborators and co-laborers. Depending on the scope of your needs I collaborate and contract with partnering consulting agencies to do short and long-term strategic assessment, planning, implementation, advising, and training. This includes Diversity & inclusion advising; leadership and management development coaching; business restructuring that is authentically and intentionally responsive and receptive to emerging social realities.
Check out my partners:
I also specialize in consulting with religious, spiritual, and Justice based non-profits. (Churches who are interested in addressing Harm rooted in tradition and theology) I maintain community partnership with the following organizations:
I would love to explore what journeying with your organization could look like.

There’s a quote from Audre Lorde that says ‘Without community, there is no liberation’. I couldn’t agree more and I think it’s completely valid to question how a person might define community. Community is complicated and holding it together can be messy because community is also dynamic. With this in mind I invite you to join us over in our Patreon community where we’re striving to work in a way where we collectively define community for ourselves and in the process live into joy and purpose. Some of the values and practices that are guiding this space center around mutual aid, rest practice, consciousness raising conversations, and holding collective transformation together. While you don’t have to be a member of the community to participate in most offerings, it is the space you’ll get faster access to me and more detailed information about our practice offerings.

No matter what your social location, we are experiencing a with collective exhaustion and fatigue. We will rest.
I must give honor to the work of Tricia Hershey, Octavia Raheem, Dr. Hillary Mcbride, Lama Rod Owens, and Prentis Hemphill. These are incredible teachers and guides who have helped me piece together the unrest I experienced in my body and our politic. To me these people carry the sage wisdom that invites us into transition from unrest to rest and offer gentle reminders to move at the speed of our nervous systems.
I also give honor to the mentors who have equipped me to guide rest practices and hold space for the working out of unrest. Jade T. Perry and the entire Mystic Soul Project Spirit School teachers and mentors.Class offerings and Signups will be posted here and the events calendar when they are available.

I’m excited to be in the development of a rhythm of retreat opportunities. Whether it’s for a few hours, a weekend, or a week the practice of retreat helps to foster an energy of healing, renewal, and co-creation. I’m also able to offer personalized retreats for your organization. In retreat we put into practice slowing down and being present with our full selves as we get clear on personal and organization needs, goals, growing pains, and conflict. We strive to surface these things because we cannot face that which we refuse to acknowledge.
To learn more about the structuring of retreat, book a call with me.
Retreat options open to the general public will be posted below when available and the events calendar.
2022 Offerings
Legacy Trip w/ Lettie Gore and Tommy Allgood
October 21-23
Montgomery, Alabama
Group Size: 5-12
Cost: $1500
Deposit: $350Legacy Trips was created by and is led by Tina Strawn. Together, we will face the truth of our nation's history of racial terror and violence, self reflect on the ways each of us have upheld and perpetuated white supremacy in our lives, and embrace our ability to affect change and dismantle racism, first within ourselves, and then in our families and communities.
Our purpose is to listen to and learn from Black leadership, utilize antiracism tools, resources and yoga philosophy to strategize ways to do less harm, be better co-conspirators to BIPOC and develop ways to move forward with mindful action toward collective liberation.
Once registered, participants will receive soul assignments, which is basically pre-work (books, podcasts, documentaries, etc) to help them get started on building a solid foundation for their personal anti-racism journey.
We invite you to engage in this transformational experience as we delve into these courageous conversations with trip facilitators Lettie Gore and Tommy Allgood.
Lettie Gore is a historian, educator, and advocate living in Wilmington, NC. She is also the host and owner of her podcast History Shows Us. Lettie’s passion for telling history’s truths and connecting the past to today’s racial and social justice issues is evident in the work she does.
She received her MA in History in 2015, focusing primarily on American history and specializing in African-American studies. She received her MA in Conflict Management & Resolution in May 2020, allowing her to use mediation, facilitation, and effective communication skills in her work as an educator and advocate. Leading and facilitating workshops to equip people with skills to have the “hard” conversations is something Lettie also enjoys. This will be the 3rd Legacy Trip that Lettie has led.
This trip is designed for folx of all racial and gender identities who are on their own decolonizing journey and who want to do the inner work of allowing truth to guide them in their anti-racism practice.
